" as priviledged guinea pigs for Peter and Debbie we cant do justice to these individuals and thier excellent "apartamenti". To put yourself out to the degree they did and with such a friendly and helpful demeanour was appreciated and unexpected. As first time visitors to the north side of the island and fed up of the "costa packet" resort of "Alghero" I wanted to explore more of the real and beautiful island and armed with the lonely planet book and debbies' email address we hooked up. From the base in Castelsardo we used the location to our advantage by travelling much of the north coast almost all the way over to Santa Teresa on the north east right over to Stintino on the northwest peninsula. There are great beaches in all directions and half the fun is finding them. I had one regret from this holiday and that was spending the first of my two weeks in Alghero and wished I had spent both weeks staying in Castelsardo. You have the best of both worlds here, you can stay local and walk the impressive town of Castelsardo with its plentiful restuarants and shops or take a car and explore the beautiful surrounds without being to far from a clean, comfortable and welcoming appartment and watch the sun go down from the balcony, directly catching the sun from early afternoon until it dips only just behind the headland at sunset. I will be looking back on my stay at the apartments until i book again next year...... so in summary "the apartments are welcoming, fuly equipped, clean, comfortable, and a real home from home.... book now before I do again....."

Hi Debs, Thank you for your email - we had a really good holiday. Not sure how much you want for your website, but here are a few words....(please feel free to edit if too long!). The welcome we received from Debs and Pete was exceptional. The apartment was great - comfortable and everything you need is there. Situated in a quiet road, close to the Marina and a 10 minute walk to the town it was the ideal location. It was easy to get to many sites in the north west of the island but a car is recommended to make sure you make the most of the numerous beautiful beaches and historical sites. The food and wine was wonderful and the locals were very friendly. If you want a peaceful location but not too distant from restaurants, bars and shops this is the ideal place to stay. The dog and the shoes story has made everyone laugh.....I think Kathy has forgiven him now. Again many thanks for your welcome, really hope this venture is as successful as you clearly deserve.

Definitely one of the best self catering apartments we have stayed in ever. Your attention to detail was for more than we expected – Fabulous terrace with lovely furniture and views – kitchen well stocked with excellent saucepans etc. We were not expecting a good balance of DVD’s to choose from either. Brilliant! Info for next guests A trip to Bosa is very worthwhile, interesting architecture and cobbled streets in the typical sardinina labyrinth of tangled alleyways. Lovely river views to and a beach! Local market here is Tuesday. Alghero has a market on Thursday (possibly other days too?) This is a very extensive market – linen ware, cheeses, fruit and vet, pot and pans etc. Local beaches around Valledoria particularly dramatic in its beauty and tranquillity in April anyway! We would love to book with you again although it looks like 12 months notice may be needed! Will recommend you to our friends and relatives and hope you continue to offer this truly superb accommodation to travellers such as us. Many Thanks.

What a fantastic week we’ve had. Apartment great – thanks for all the little extras – especially the wine, water and milk. Started to chill with the 1st glass of wine! Much appreciated. The weather has been super – Stintino is a must – never seen such turquoise seas – beautiful. Enjoyed Isola Rossa, Santa Teresa lovely to but a bit more touristy. Castelsardo – well what a lovely place with its superb harbour – we could only look with envy at the beautiful boats. Think a car is a must to get a feel of the island with its spectacular views. We came across a beautiful and deserted beach – going towards Isola Rossa – called Ponti Biancu – well worth it. Northing there except a beautiful bay with fantastic views – take along a sandwich and a drink and you well sorted. What more can we say except a massive thank you . It’s been really lovely and hope to come here against this time next year.

Pete & Debs – it was great to see you at the airport and made it so much easier to found our way in the dark! The apartment is great – furnishings, views and location – not sure what control you have to give such give weather! A car is essential to get the best from seeing the mountains, valleys, cliffs, coves and beaches, which are truly spectacular. Stintino and the beaches are worth a visit – pick a fine day. Bosa is beautiful as is the coast road up to Alghero. St Teresa is pleasant to walk round and Costa Smeralda beautiful and great for people and boat watching! A great break and we shall certainly recommend to others, Many, many thanks.
